H.E. U Henry Van Thio, Vice President of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, visited the Thilawa Special Economic Zone on 18th July, 2019.
His Excellency was welcome by U Sett Aung, Chairman of Thilawa SEZ Management Committee, Mr. Tomoyasu Shimizu, President and CEO of Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited, U Win Aung, Chairman of MTSH, MJTD and TPD, U Kyaw Zaw Wai, CEO of MTSH and other members of Board of Director.
After that, management personnels from TSMC, MJTD and MTSH presented explanations and demonstration to Vice President and attending guests about the continuous progress and developments of Thilawa Special Economic Zone and promising future advancement. His Excellency then gave a speech of appreciation and how much expectations that the government put in this national-level project.
His Excellency took a brief tour to some of the factories in Thilawa SEZ afterwards before concluding his visit.
